Who we are

checkup is an Italian manufacturing company specializing in technology analysis and consulting aimed at the design, industrialization, and implementation of innovative solutions for improving production, data collection and analysis, and consequently increasing system efficiency.
  • 1991 checkup was born, in Pordenone.
  • 1992 Construction of the first medical care device.
  • 1994 Opening a new office in Treviso.
  • 1996 Realization of professional devices for the sports world.
  • 1998 Creation of the checkup catalog for the wellness sector, participation in the first ISH international fair in Frankfurt.
  • 2000 Design and construction of the first IP sealed touch screen display for outdoor and wellness use.
  • 2001 Filing of the first patents and trademarks.
  • 2002 Study and realization of electronics for the handling of hospital beds. The first high-efficiency three-phase inverter for Jacuzzi is also produced.
  • 2003 Development and patenting of the i-krome™ system for spas, wellness centers, and the wellness sector in general. Installment of an in-house laboratory for sample reliability tests and life tests on prototypes and serial production.
  • 2004 Creation of capacitive keyboards on glass and related European patent.
  • 2006 Quality certification ISO 9001/2000.
  • 2007 Birth of the internal pre-compliance EMC laboratory.
  • 2008 First LED street lighting systems, Dataenergy brand spinoff.
  • 2009 Design of high-efficiency LED power supplies and control units for solar-powered devices.
  • 2010 Official launch of the Sensai™ brand at the Light&Building fair in Frankfurt, branch of the company dedicated to multifunctional lighting design and ISO 9001/2008 compliance.
  • 2011 Development of a touchless keyboard for appliances and medical applications.
  • 2012 Development and design of wireless modules for medical applications and implementation of an OLED device for the lighting sector.
  • 2013 Development of devices and interfaces specific to the medical sector including the first embedded systems.
  • 2014 Development of the first IoT product for medical use for home therapies; the system is connected and monitored by the attending physician.
  • 2015

    Capacitive user interface on metal and first IoT device on a wifi/NFC basis for tracking consumables in the vending machine sector.

     
  • 2016

    Launch of the business unit that deals with technological integration in furniture; presentation of the ITAUDIO system certified by Apple.

  • 2016

    Opening R&D office in Udine Science and Technology Park for IoT architecture development and presentation of the first phyto-purification system.

  • 2017 Introducing the Aircub product line, sanitizers designed for the furniture world. Effective, smart, connected and small in size.
  • 2018 Development of mems and environmental sensor architecture including an NFC-based tracking system for blood banks.
  • 2019 Sensor networks, including high-resolution cameras for intensive crop monitoring.
  • 2020

    Study of a line of environmental sanitization products.

  • 2021 Crystal valve radio reissued with current technologies from a 1938 design icon; start of research collaborations with different university departments and related spin-offs.
  • 2022 Start of the “sustainable electronics” program, and an innovation eco-system.
